Instructor Standardization Training (IST) - AEMA

The Instructor Standardization Training (IST-Basic) course is a prerequisite for any person wishing to deliver Incident Command System or emergency management courses from AEMA.
- The course involves an eight-hour pre-course assignment and two days in-class. All candidates must complete and submit an AEMA instructor application before being assigned a spot in this course.
- Hosted by GPREP, instructed by AEMA.
Target Audience: Those wishing to become instructors for AEMA courses such as ICS 200. GPREP would be grateful to have more instructors in and around our region! Also open to external municipalities, agencies, and organizations (with priority given to GPREP members).
Prerequisites: Submit an AEMA Instructor Application to AEMA (GPREP will connect you) and await approval.
